Over 500 visitors came to our Chelsea Fringe music festival
A huge thank you to all who came! And a special thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who made cakes and helped on the day, ensuring our Chelsea Fringe music festival was a great success! Music groups played in the woodland and on the lawn. The Mayor of Islington Cllr Gary Heather and the Mayoress Cllr Tricia Clarke enjoyed a tour of Olden Garden and met many of our visiting families and children.

Everyone welcome! Come to our Music Festival in Olden Garden on Sunday 21st May, 2-6pm. Our community event celebrates the Chelsea Fringe – the community festival of gardening.

Plant Sale in Highbury Barn on Bank Holiday Monday
Come along to Arvon Road Allotments Plant Sale in Highbury Barn on Monday 8th May, 11am to 1pm – next to the Highbury Barn Tavern.
Butterfly garden making good progress
Our volunteers have planted buddleia, one of the best-known nectar flowers for adult butterflies, alongside verbena, sedum, hebe, marjoram – and many more! The butterfly larvae, caterpillars, will feed on the hops and other native greenery.

We will have a Mother’s Day activity for children.
Coffee and cake/biscuits will be provided.
